Future Development：
1. Recruiting famous scholars to enrich the faculty members：
Since the founding of our department, we have always believed that the recruitment and enrichment of faculty members are fundamental to a research and teaching institution. At present, the faculty of our department is already influential; in the future, in addition to further strengthening the recruitment of full-time faculty, we will also recruit scholars with expertise from home and abroad to teach or hold lectures, in the hope of becoming a major center of academic development.
2. Improving software and hardware equipment to develop online teaching：
In order to provide an ideal environment for faculty members and students to teach and research, our department not only makes full use of the existing teaching facilities, but also actively seeks funding for the acquisition of various statistical software, databases, reference tools, official government statistical books, and related book series.
3. Planning the overall curriculum with equal emphasis on theory and practice
On the one hand, we offer both theoretical and practical courses, such as fincance courses, to align with the demand of the domestic and international economies. On the other hand, we strength the development of the mainstream economics. We are dedicated to make the academic crouses get with the times. Our target is combining theory and practice to meet the needs of social development.
4. Strengthening academic exchanges and enhancing research ethos
In order to make theory and practice mutually correlated, most of the full-time faculty members of our department accept outside research projects in their spare time and recruit undergraduate, graduate and Ph.D. students as research assistants. In the future, we will invite overseas scholars to visit the department to exchange ideas and promote academic exchange and improve research standards.
5. Strengthening the contact with alumni and increasing cooperation and exchange
Since our department established, we has nurtured many outstanding talents to serve the community in various industries. Our department's tradition of membership and care for each other has always been a good one.
