Taipei Economic Inquiry (ISSN 1018-1245) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal in Economics and related disciplines. It is published biannually in January and July by the Department of Economics at National Taipei University. The journal has a long-standing history, with the first volume under its current title published in 1976.
Taipei Economic Inquiry aims to disseminate original research articles that contribute to our knowledge in all fields of Economics. The journal welcomes research contributions that employ theoretical, empirical, or experimental methodologies, addressing topics of contemporary significance or those of potential long-term impact. Articles written in English or Chinese are equally welcomed.
The journal is indexed in several renowned databases, including EconLit, EBSCO, ProQuest, and TSSCI. The hard copies of the journal are collected by university libraries in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Shanghai.
